Fashioning Romance one stitch at a time....

I'm an incurable romantic with too many ideas! I love to work with brides and their families.... unique dresses, boleros, accessories, and custom requests.

I love silk and lace, and all quality fabrics and fashion history. I see yarn and I imagine a new stitch, I find a vintage dress, I want to cut it up and make something new out of it (not to mention beads, jewelry, books, drawing, art....well, the list goes on). And, anything vintage, glam, historic, and ironically modern, AND bridal!

A former New York City 7th Avenue Collection Designer for Calvin Klein, Ltd. and Parsons School of Design graduate, contributing designer for Vogue Knitting, Soho Publishing, Family Circle Knitting, and many more publications, I now reside in beautiful Marin County, CA with my husband, and SEVERAL pets. Offspring out doing their thing.

The name of my shop is based on a poem I wrote at age 13. I had an extraordinary, chic, and classy NYC Godmother who introduced me to the style of NYC at a tender age, albeit a small town upbringing. I never looked back, style...oh style.

If an hour...were a day, maybe then we'd find a way. One stitch at a time helps to ease our hurried minds.
